General Visiting Hours
Visiting hours on the main floor begin at 9:00 a.m., but must end promptly at 10:00 p.m. in order that our staff can provide the evening care of our patients and ensure the rest they need.
There should not be no more than two visitors in a patient’s room at one time. One parent or adult family member must stay with pediatric patients at all times, including overnight. Due to regulatory guidelines, visitors are not permitted to sleep in hospital beds. A limited number of sleep chairs are available. Inquire about sleep chairs at the nurses’ station.
As a family-oriented facility, KRMC encourages children under 12 to visit their family member when accompanying an adult. All visitors must wear a shirt and shoes for their own protection. Visitors are asked to leave the hospital by 10:00 p.m. so the staff can administer care and the patients can rest.
