For many patients and their families, a visit includes filling out unfamiliar forms and answering financial and insurance questions. The information below and the phone numbers that follow can help with this process.
If patients have any questions concerning billing, insurance cards and Medicare ID or Pre-certification they can contact the business office at 666-6479. Please have your patient number and date of your visit available, a business office staff member will be available to assist you from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Kentucky River Medical Center will honor assignments of insurance benefits for 45 days from the date of billing to the insurance company. If, at the end of 45 days, the insurance company has not settled the account, Kentucky River Medical Center will look to the patient for the final settlement of the account.
Any patient having inadequate insurance coverage, or no insurance coverage, will be requested to make appropriate deposits at the time of admission.

Insurance Information
If you provide insurance information and completed forms at the time of your admission or visit, it will be available to the physician's billing departments upon your request. If you were unable to provide this information at the time of your visit, please send completed form when you receive bill.
